About the Role:

BlackRock is hiring for the role of Analyst / Associate, Advance Analytics Solutions within its Aladdin Data team. This team plays a vital role in the Aladdin platform, BlackRock’s comprehensive investment and risk management system, which supports both internal and external clients with data management and analytics solutions.

About Aladdin Data:

The Aladdin Data team manages the delivery of high-quality analytics within the Aladdin ecosystem. As part of this, the Analytics Stewardship team ensures investment and risk analytics meet the highest standards. They work closely with cross-functional teams like Client Business, Product, and Engineering to design, improve, and scale analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance analytics data assets within the Aladdin platform.
• Build and deliver tailored data and analytics solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve delivery pipelines.
• Conduct analyses on client usage patterns and suggest improvements.
• Develop governance workflows and processes for analytics data.
• Understand and work with risk models across multiple asset classes.
• Resolve complex analytical inquiries while ensuring governance standards.

Key Technical Skills:

Python, GenAI platforms (LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face), Data Analytics / Data Science, AI/ML techniques, Financial Analytics, Portfolio Analytics, Risk Models, Quantitative Analysis, Fixed Income, Equities, Interest Rates & Derivatives, Credit Products, Bond Math

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–6 years of relevant experience in financial services, data analytics, or data science.
• Strong technical and quantitative skills.
• Exposure to investment and risk analytics.
• Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or credit products.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and AI/ML techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
